Hey you lot

a couple of updates, received a few goodies over the last couple of days including my correct sized TIP, manifold wastegate cover, Forge 007 DV, AEM boost gauge and last but not least my Milltek cat back




And now the whole collection!



just the intercooler to go then its all going on at once.

Im also attempting to make my own gauge mounts this weekend so ill post some pics if it all goes well.
getting very close, keep you posted!

Ive only got 2 gauges going in but i thought id make room for a third just in case!

can anyone guess where theyre goin?!

What'd you use for the 3 rings there? Are they off the gauges?

Yeah the AEM gauges come with 2 faces (black and white) and two exterior covers (black and silver), so i used these to get the positioning correct on my template. its looking pretty good so far.

Couldnt wait to install my Milltek cat back exhaust so i put it on today!

Was going great until i got to where the exhaust joins the Cat, from there it got a bit tricky because the 3 bolts holding it on were half way up in the engine bay.
Took me an age of fucking around to finally decide on removing the air box and unbolting the Cat from the back of the turbo to drop the down pipe low enough to reach the 3 bolts.

All in all 3 hours taking off the old exhaust and one hour putting the new one on and reassembling the engine bay! lol.

It sounds bassy but not loud - PERFIC!

Also had a quick look inside the cat today and had a good laugh at what i found...




Especially when my new ...er... "cat" looks like this:
